Meeting complex challenges under an accelerated deadline.
At PBS's American Experience, I coordinated the program's News & Documentary Emmy submissions, managing the materials, schedules, and communications required to prepare entries across multiple documentary projects.
The process involved working with film teams to gather written statements, imagery, and supporting materials while tracking eligibility requirements and submission deadlines. I developed reusable asset trackers and outreach templates to make the process more organized and efficient.
When the Emmy ceremony schedule unexpectedly changed, the submission window contracted from approximately four months to just six weeks. I adapted our existing workflows to the new timeline, coordinating with film teams and internal stakeholders to ensure every entry was completed and submitted on time.
All submissions were delivered by the accelerated deadline, including six projects that ultimately earned Emmy nominations.
