POTUS Scandal Time

PBS American Experience | 2024
My Role: Creator & Producer
Disciplines: Concept Development, Historical Research, Scriptwriting, Filming, Video Editing

Bringing presidential history into the short-form video era.

POTUS Scandal Time is a six-part original historical video series I conceived and produced for PBS's American Experience.

The project grew out of an opportunity to adapt the program's historical storytelling for short-form digital audiences. I developed the series concept and worked with the social media team to secure approval from senior editorial leadership.

Following approval, I independently researched, scripted, filmed, and edited all six installments, translating complex historical subjects into accessible videos approximately 60–90 seconds long.

The series was released in summer 2024 and received positive recognition from PBS's national social media leadership.

For me, the project demonstrated how original editorial ideas could be developed into engaging digital programming while maintaining the historical rigor associated with American Experience.
