My Role: Freelance Video Producer
Disciplines: Creative Development, Research, Scriptwriting, Filming, Editing
A fresh look at the mysteries and characters audiences love.
For PBS's Mystery Loves Company campaign, I was commissioned to develop and produce ten original short-form videos celebrating the network's mystery programming.
Working across research, scripting, filming, and editing, I develop videos designed to engage existing fans while introducing the programs to new audiences.
My projects include a recap of The Puzzle Lady, developed collaboratively with PBS's social media team, and an independently conceived feature exploring the costumes of Hercule Poirot.
The Puzzle Lady recap achieved reported engagement rates of 15% on TikTok and 11.8% on Instagram.
The commission has given me the opportunity to combine original creative development with collaborative production, responding to editorial feedback while maintaining a distinctive storytelling approach.
